Kate has been watching Madeline play soccer for a couple years and has been begging for a chance to play as well. She is finally old enough and she played her first game on Saturday. It was so cute. This young age group is very entertaining to watch. Most of the time they all gather around the ball in a group and follow it around. Occasionally some one will break out in front and run for the goal. That is what Kate is doing in the right hand photo. She actually scored her first goal! She was so proud that we chose not to tell her it was for the other team (oops)! He he.
In this photo the game is over and the two teams are telling each other good game. The thing I like about this photo is you can see the joy on Kate's face (a look I don't get to see most days). She had fun!
