We made our yearly trek to the pumpkin patch. The kids had so much fun tromping through the field in search of their own "great" pumpkin.

Abigail was excited to see all the strange round orange things. She seriously has no idea what a pumpkin is, but she still managed to find great joy in running around and pointing at them. Of course there was grunting and growling involved.

Madeline had a really hard time picking just one pumpkin. At one point she had the whole wheel barrow filled to the brim. She enjoyed searching every inch (literally every inch) of the field to finally find the right pumpkin.

Kate was the most entertaining. She quietly walked around talking to herself about the pumpkins. Then she discovered one she really loved. It was too big to pick up so she rolled and kicked and huffed and puffed her way towards the wheel barrow with it. After all that work we sadly discovered the silly pumpkin wouldn't even stand up.

we went to the same one yesterday! did you kids get lost in the corn maze?
There were a few minutes when I thought my girls were lost in the corn maze. I almost had to go in after them. But they finally found their way out. It is a fun place!
What a fun day and the photos are great.
