Kate chose to go to Build-a-Bear for her birthday. She had a tough time deciding what animal she wanted, but finally she decided on a black lab named Sally. In the left picture she is helping stuff Sally. Then she gave Sally a bath (check out the video below). After that she dressed Sally and then purchased a bed and leash with Grandpa Bradley's birthday money. She had a lot off fun!! I think we are in trouble because Kate LOVES to shop. Just look at her with her bags!! She practically skipped her way back to the car.
Kate requested a pink kitty cake with a purple nose, purple ears and a blue collar. She was so sure she was going to get a stuffed kitty, but in the end the black lab won her over. All in all it was a fun and exciting 5th birthday!
