Today is the first day of second grade for Madeline. Yikes!!! I can't believe how fast she is growing up. I took her to school and met her new teacher. Madeline was so excited she almost burst at the seams (getting her to go to sleep last night was a real challenge). As you can see in the photo, Madeline is sporting a new hair style. She couldn't wait to show her teacher her new hair do. She kept saying, "My teacher is going to adore me!" The good news is, despite being independent and excited, she still wanted a hug from mom in front of all her friends. These are the moments that keep me going!
